Description

The multiplicities, energy distributions, and angular characteristics of singly and doubly charged particles with energy less than 400 MeV/nucleon produced in interactions of protons and 16O nuclei with light and heavy nuclei of nuclear emulsions have been investigated. For interactions induced by heavy nuclei the cross sections for emission of high-energy α particles (40< or =E/sub α/< or =1600 MeV) are given
