Longitudinal/transverse modulation of electron beam

Description
We report about longitudinal/transverse modulation of electron beam for equivalent velocity spectroscopy (EVS) in pulse radiolysis. In the modulation, the distribution of electron is tilted along both the transverse and longitudinal directions. The longitudinal/transverse modulation using a photocathode RF gun linac was studied using simulation. (author)
