Description

Present article is devoted to decomposition of borosilicate ores by mineral acids. The systematized decomposition of initial borosilicate ore by hydrochloric, sulfur and nitric acids was summarized. The chemical composition of initial borosilicate ore was defined. The results of decomposition of initial ore of Ak-Arkhar Deposit depending on temperature, concentration and process duration were considered. The flowsheet of obtaining of boric product and other valuable components from the calcined borosilicate ore of Ak-Arkhar Deposit by mineral acids was proposed.
