Incorporation of 85Kr into some isothiocyanates and the stability of the kryptonates in air
- 1. Slovenska Vysoka Skola Technicka, Bratislava (Czechoslovakia). Katedra Radiochemie a Radiacnej Chemie
Description
A number of isothiocyanates have been prepared and kryptonated by microd iffusion. Their stability in air was studied by counting the residual activity as a function of time. Initial specific activities were large enough for practical use, ranging from 4×101 to 3×l06 cpm/l00 mg. Within 200 h in air, some kryptonated isothiocyanates lost as much as 80% of their initial activity.
