In the third quarter of 1998, there were 41 notifiable events in nuclear power plants in the Federal Republic of Germany, which are listed and characterized in the report. None of those events involved release of radioactivity exceeding the official limit values. Fourty notefiable events fall into the lowest category of the event scale, of type N (normal reporting requirements). One event was of the type E (requiring prompt notification). All events reported were below scale/zero according to the INES system (of no or negligible safety significance or radiological relevance). (orig./CB)

Abstract (German)

Im 3. Quartal 1998 wurden 41 meldepflichtige Ereignisse aus den Atomkraftwerken der Bundesrepublik Deutschland erfasst. Die Uebersichtsliste enthaelt alle 41 Ereignisse, die in diesem Zeitraum gemeldet wurden. Abgaben radioaktiver Stoffe oberhalb genehmigter Grenzwerte traten in diesem Zeitraum nicht auf. 40 Ereignisse lagen in der niedrigsten behoerdlichen Meldekategorie N (Normalmeldung). Ein Ereignis wurde in der behoerdlichen Meldekategorie E (Eilmeldung) gemeldet. Ereignisse der Kategorie S (Sofortmeldung) waren nicht zu verzeichnen. Alle meldepflichtigen Ereignisse wurden der INES-Stufe 0 (keine oder sehr geringe unmittelbare sicherheitstechnische, bzw. keine radiologische Bedeutung) zugeordnet. (orig.)
