Device for electromagnet waves excitation in a plasma

Description
A dielectric resonator with a dielectric wave guide has been developed in order that the efficiency of the unit for exciting electromagnetic waves in a plasma be higher. The wave guide has the same diameter as the resonator does and is coaxial with it. Wave guide parameters are chosen from the condition that the axial wavelength in the resonator is less than in the wave guide. To simplify the system the resonator and wave guide can be made of identical dielectric rings
