Fluorine scintillator neutrino detector

Description

8B solar neutrino detection is proposed via charge current reaction νe+19F with hexafluorobenzene scintillator detector. Main advantage of the detector is possibility to identify neutrino interaction by means of observation of coincidence with delayed β+-decay of 19Ne (T1/2=17s). ((orig.))
