Temperature calculation of the superconducting transition of chemical elements and compositions using the Debye temperature and ionization potentials

Description

It is shown that the temperatures of a superconducting transition Ts of chemical elements and compounds can be calculated from the Debye temperatures and the ratios of ionization potentials or from their sums without recourse to the electron-phonon coupling parameter or the Coulomb repulsive pseudo-potential in the McMillan equation. The results are provided of calculations of Ts for Be, Cd, In, La of transition elements and for nitrides and carbides of transition elements
