An first code for the energy law birth
Description
The publication of the Energy Code may be viewed as the birth certificate of French energy law. It affirms the maturity of a legal corpus and explains its content. It shows specific institutions and an autonomous corpus. It specifies the frontier between the various legal domains and asks the question of their classification methods. The energy code shows gaps and calls for a formal and substantial consolidation. In fact the legal concepts, subjective rights and leading principles of energy law remain underlying and should be formalized for the law to be intelligible and efficient. Other questions concern the plan of the work which sets up a code of energies and the feasibility of a real energy code. This progress made should be relayed by serious doctrinal thinking about energy law
