Equipment for monitoring water penetration into liquid sodium, especially in fast reactor modular steam generators

The equipment consists of a diffusion probe placed in the wall of a tube plate, or the collector pipe, elements, branches or steam generator body. The probe is connected to an ion pump and to a high voltage supply and is attached to an interconnect tube to whose other end a dilatation bellows is connected attached to the steam generator casa. The method described allows the assembly and disassembly of the probe from outside the steam generator case. (J.B.)
