My visit to China
Description
In 1980, a member of the Health Physics Society visited China as a guest of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Radiation Protection Society formed in 1979. A brief report is given of the status of nuclear energy research and development following the impact of the 10-year Cultural Revolution. A rapid increase in scientific exchange is now expected between China and the West. (U.K.)
