Description

Technique to produce a polarized electron beam using impact ionization by polarized hydrogen electron beam is suggested. 40 m A current of emergent beam was obtained at 1 A ionizing beam current within 100 μs duration pulse, at 5 keV energy, 20 cm interaction range length and 4 k E magnetic field. 3 figs
