Detection of deuteron acceleration effect in collision of magnetoacoustic shock waves in a plasma

The article reports about an experimental detection of deuteron acceleration effect under collision at a fixed angle of two quasiperpendicular magnetoacoustic shock waves. Possible processes of ion injection to the acceleration regime along the magnetic field are analyzed. 10 refs.; 2 figs
