Fracture methodology and analysis
Description
The following sections describe recent advances made under the Heavy Section Steel Technology (HSST) Program by Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and several subcontracting groups for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to develop the experimental data base and the analytical tools required to produce improved fracture-mechanics models for Reactor Pressure Vessel (RPV) steels
