Description

Full text: The influence of preliminary γ-radiation on charge state of thin fine dispersed polymer composites based on polystyrene (PS) and piezo ceramics of PZT with particle size of ∼1 m km is investigated. PZT particles were separated in the polymer solvent by the sedimentation method and then were introduced into polymer matrix. RTL, TSD, IR researches of these composites were conducted. (1). It is established by SEM and AFM investigations, that at certain concentrations of fillers in polymer composite the clusters predominate and this leads to irregularity of surface structure. In the structure with clusters the half-width of peaks more wide, amplitude is relatively less and second peaks are observed. This was explained by us with features of interphase structure. It is assumed by us, that at monodispersity of filler the physical structure around introduced particle is identical, that is the physical structure of traps is the same. It may be result of this factor, that monodispersity of filler leads to identical taking place of crystallization process of polymer on surface of introduced particles. Because of distribution of particles of same sizes without forming of clusters, the same area around particle will formed from crystallized polymer chains of same kinetics units. Therefore, it was made the conclusion, that if this composite preliminary will be exposed of γ- radiation of same dose, then formation of identical traps will increase electret charge. It was established by us, that composites of PS/PZT-19 preliminary irradiated by γ- radiation by dose of D=30 kGy at the same polarization conditions have the value of surface charge more than 2-3 time. Thus, for the first time it is established by us the connection between RTL properties, interphase structure and electret charge
