Stochastic instability of charged particles in a geomagnetic trap

Description
Types of stochastic instability of charged particles in a geomagnetic trap are considered; boundaries and regions of instability existence, are determined. The nature of mnonadiabatic behaviour of particles is explained. The discrete structure of angular and energy proton spectra is forecasted, as well as breaks of particle spectra, corresponding to the boundary between the Arnold diffusion and modulation one, and the existence of the comparatively wide and non-populated region of global stochasticity, where proton fluxes are lower than the level of the cosmic background
