Hadrons from relativistic quarks and spin effects in high-eneray processes at high Q2
Description
Polarization effects in inclusive and exclusive large-angle processes are analyzed within the framework of the relativistic quark model. The consequences of the H spin invariance violation when considering quark-exchange and Landshoff diagrams in elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering are considered. It is shown that spin-flip amplitudes are not equal to zero because of the presence in relativistic wave functions of terms violating helicity conservation in the hadron-quark transition vertices
