Working cost and operational report stationary engines and gas turbines, 1992

For this, the 69th year of publication of this Report we have received returns from 70 power stations with diesel engine prime movers and 13 power stations with gas turbine prime movers representing a total of approximately 2,450 MW installed generation capacity of which approximately 50% uses gas turbine engines. As last year, 21 of the stations reporting are located in the UK. A list of the stations and some general particulars of the installations is included. Other tables give data on working costs and availability. The publication concludes with an analysis of stoppages and a record of the discussion following the presentation of the report. (6 tables).
