Transmission band of a laser interferometric gravitational antenna

Description

The problem of freguency range boundaries of a laser interferometric gravitation antenna is considered. Analysis is carried out with account of the spectral composition of expected gravitation bursts from flares of supernovae, practically all the gravitational-wave experiments being aimed at detection of the latter. The antenna transmission band is shown to be limited from below by frequency of natural oscillations of the suspension of probe bodies and from above - by the lower frequency of natural oscillations of probe bodies depending on the thermodynamic fluctuations. The effect of the Q-factor of the oscillator simulating suspension of probe bodies and natural thermodynamic noises on the antenna transmission band is investigated
