In-reactor creep rate and stress yield of high nickel alloy

Description
Determination capabilities of the high-nickel austenitic alloy 03X20N45M3BRTS has been studied at the temperature values from 623-1073 K and the stress value from 50 to 530 MPa. The studies have been performed in the course of the alloy irradiation in the experimental channels of the WWER-K reactor. The creep experiments have been carried out with cylindrical specimen having a diameter of 3 mm and length of the deformation at the stable creep stage with accuracy not worst than ± 5%. The experiments have been carried out an constant temperature and stress, when one-axial stretching. The data received have allowed to determine the stable creep rate on temperature and stress. The stress values have been calculated with variation in the specimen working cross-section taken into account. Following the experimental data as the graphs of the stable creep rate versus the stress and the testing temperature have been build. The reasoning for attraction for analysis of experimental results between these quantities and the stable-stage creep rate have been found. Besides, application of this quantities makes comparative evaluation of deformation behaviour of various materials march easier
