A semi-empirical scaling for K-shell fluorescence yields in light ions

Description

A sample semi-empirical scaling formula for the effective K-fluorescence yields as a function of the charge state in light elements (Z≤10) is proposed. Based on the Larkins statistical scaling this formula compares favorable with sophisticated calculations and experimental data. (Author)
