Spatial and time oscillations of concentrations during mechanical alloy formation of Fe-B powders

Description

Results of Moessbauer investigation into kinetics of mechanical alloy formation of mixture containing Fe+50 at.% of B are presented. The process of alloy formation is realized in a centrifugal-planetary will in the atmosphere of purified helium. The model spectrum calculation has shown that the volume of a phase with Fe75B25 composition increases during synthesis. 10 refs., 2 figs
