Description

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotubes is a widely used material for photocatalytic degradation of the organic pollutants. Many researches also been focused on doping with metal ions for improving the photocatalytic activity. Importantly, controlling proper doping concentration is the key for better photocatalytic activity. In this work, we doped cerium (Ce) on TiO2 nanotubes and observed its photocatalytic activity. When the Ce doping concentration is higher there has been reduction in the photocatalytic activity. Therefore, in order to obtain the better photocatalytic activity in future its necessary to further optimize Ce doping concentration. (authors)
