Fast valve for simulation of accidental loop depressurization

Description

A design for a remote, fast valve for experimental studies of thermohydraulic processes accompanying depressurization of a loop with high-temperature coolant has been developed. The design enables varying over a wide range the depressurization time and does not introduce any significant distortions into the measurement system during the initial period after depressurization. The operation of the valve and the mathematical model of this process are described. The stability of valve operation is analyzed
