Description
The paper deals with the development of magnetic systems of stellarator type plasma traps. The invention is aimed at improvement of the access to the working volume. The system comprises six moduli. Each modulus includes three pairs of segments of helical coils located at both sides of the longitudinal magnetic field coil. The helical segments are connected by radial jumpers at each face of the modulus for formation of closed current circuit. If angular width of the helical segments in the helical toroidal magnetic system disposed on a toroidal surface makes up 45 deg they will occupy 0.37% of the total area of the torus surface
