Description
The aim of this study is the characterization of carbon nitride layers deposited on Si and Al substrates by CO2 laser ablation of a graphite target in a nitrogen atmosphere, along with the study of the influence of nitrogen pressure increasing in the range of 1 - 1000 Pa on the physicochemical and structural characteristics and also on the microhardness of these layers. Different diagnostic techniques such as XPS, SEM, AFM and XRD are used to achieve this goal. (author)
