Route planner for a climate-proof Netherlands. Case studies and hotspots

Description
The aim of the title project is to make an inventory of the areas where climate change is expected to lead to consequences that can be controlled in a socially acceptable manner by means of changes in spatial planning. The inventory is needed to arrive at a recommendation on which case studies/hot spots can be addressed in the framework of ARK (Dutch Climate changes Spatial Planning Programme) and to provide examples for the agenda setting of ARK. The 'Action Plan Route planner 2010-2050, Activities in 2006' reports the following results for this study: A list of criteria based on which the hot spots and case studies can be described and a list of potential hot spots and case studies.

Doel van het titel project is om gebieden te inventariseren, waar verwacht wordt dat klimaatverandering zal leiden tot gevolgen, die door een andere ruimtelijke inrichting op maatschappelijk aanvaardbare wijze kunnen worden beheerst. De inventarisatie is nodig om uiteindelijk te kunnen komen tot een aanbeveling welke casestudies/hotspots kunnen worden opgepakt in het kader van ARK (Nationaal Onderzoeksprogramma Klimaat voor Ruimte) en om voorbeelden te kunnen geven voor agendasetting van ARK. Het 'Plan van aanpak Routeplanner 2010-2050, Activiteiten in 2006' benoemt voor deze studie de volgende resultaten: Een lijst van criteria aan de hand waarvan casestudies en hotspots beschreven kunnen worden; en Een lijst van potentiele hotspots en casestudies.Additional details
