Sensitivity study for determining critical skyshine parameters in reprocessing installations
Description
A comparison between the methods of single scatter and Monte-Carlo has been performed for skyshine dose-rate. This shows that the single scatter method can understimate by a factor between two and four. The most critical parameter for skyshine dose-rate is a change in the roof thickness, the effect of which can be estimated by simple means. Changes due to variations in energy spectrum, source array and dose point height are small. (author)
