This chapter reviews the development of the NIKOS-system at the Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor (HASYLAB). The NIKOS is a system used for non-invasive angiography. This chapter discusses the parameters for NIKOS, such as the contrast material, mass density, spatial and temporal resolution and flux. Also the experimental set-up is described.
