Description
This report surveyed the design requirements which should be considered when designed and analyzed the failure causes for CANDU pressure tube known so far in view of metallurgical aspects. In the basis of the results of above failure causes analysis, the directions of development program to increase the lifetime of pressure tube are suggested in this paper. 5 tabs., 43 figs., 22 refs.
