Fission product arrangement of a fast neutron reactor
Description
In fast breeder reactors, the large spatial share of the structural materials means a worsening of the neutron balance. By reducing the hydraulic resistance of the fuel element arrangement, the balance ist partially improved. The fuel elements are arranged so that the total height without shortening the fuel element length is considerably reduced. (TK)

Bei Schnellbrutreaktoren bedeutet der grosse raeumliche Anteil an Strukturmaterialien eine Verschlechterung der Neutronenbilanz. Durch Herabsetzung des hydraulischen Widerstandes der BE-Anordnung wird die Bilanz teilweise verbessert. Die BE werden so angeordnet, dass die Gesamthoehe ohne Verkuerzung der Brennstofflaenge erheblich herabgesetzt wird. (TK)Files
