Questions in the detection of very low energy interactions

Creators

Description

We survey the issues involved in the detection of very low energy interactions relevant to particle physics and cosmology. These include the role of kinematics and coherence, scattering or interaction on complex systems such as large bodies and crystals as well as other points. Direct coupling to condensed matter excitations such as the phonon Cerenkov effect, or the production of quasiparticles is also illustrated
