Description

In order to control the multitude of activities and documents required before a nuclear power plant can be transferred to Operations, it was essential to develop and apply a program which would result in good coordination and effective control of the activities at site. The quality assurance program which was developed and used is described here. The actual methods and tools used to achieve such coordination and control are described and specific examples are given. Finally, the training requirements of the personnel and the importance in such a program of having qualified people in order to achieve quality is underlined
