Method and device for isolating small spheroids from irregular heaps of such spheroids
Description
A method is described for isolating spherical particles especially fuel particles for nuclear reactors, where these will suffer as little damage as possible. This is achieved by supplying them to a rotating disc provided with a perforated face through which the spheres are sucked in. A gas flow directed to the perforated disc provides for uniform destibution. Details of the apparatus are described. (UWI)

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Vereinzelung von Kugelteilchen, insbesondere von Kernreaktorbrennstoffteilchen beschrieben, bei dem diese moeglichst wenig beschaedigt werden koennen. Man erreicht dies durch Aufbringen auf eine rotierende Scheibe, die mit einem Lochkranz versehen ist, durch die die Kuegelchen angesaugt werden. Ein auf die Lochscheibe gerichteter Gasstrom sorgt fuer gleichmaessige Verteilung. Apparative Einzelkeiten sind beschrieben. (UWI)Files
