Study of the states Ds1(2536)+ and Z(3930)
Description
The electron-positron annihilation events studied in the framework of the BABAR experiment at a c. m. energy of 10.58 GeV represent a rich source for the production of charm-containing resonances. In connection with the excellent instrumentation of the detector a precise measurement of this states becomes possible. In the present thesis a precision measurement of the Ds1(2536)+ is performed. 8000 decays of the Ds1(2536)+ into D*+KS0 are reconstructed. Basing on this the mass and the decay width of the Ds1(2536)+ can be determined with high precision. Additionally by a decay-angle analysis the spin-parity of the Ds1(2536)+ is determined. In the second part of the thesis the 2-photon production of the Z(2930) is studied in the decay into D anti D. Mass, decay width, and spin-parity of the Z(2930) are measured

Die im Rahmen des BABAR-Experiments untersuchten Elektron-Positron-Annihilationsereignisse bei einer Schwerpunktsenergie von 10,58 GeV stellen eine ergiebige Quelle zur Erzeugung charmhaltiger Resonanzen dar. In Verbindung mit der hervorrangenden Instrumentierung des Detektors wird eine praezise Vermessung dieser Zustaende moeglich. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Praezisionsmessung des Ds1(2536)+ durchgefuehrt. Es werden 8000 Zerfaelle des Ds1(2536)+ in D*+KS0 rekonstruiert. Hierauf basierend kann die Masse und die Zerfallsbreite des Ds1(2536)+ mit hoher Praezision bestimmt werden. Zusaetzlich wird durch eine Zerfallswinkelanalyse die Spin-Paritaet des Ds1(2536)+ bestimmt. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird die 2-Photon-Produktion des Z(3930) im Zerfall nach D anti D untersucht. Masse, Zerfallsbreite und Spin-Paritaet des Z(3930) werden gemessen. (orig.)Files
