X-ray crystal monochromator with Soller bent collimator
Creators
Description
An X-ray monochromator with a flat crystal and Soller collimator is developed for investigation of soft X-radiation from extended sources of thermonuclear plasma type of tokamak facilities. For increase of the angle of view in the collimator there is a drive used for variation of curvature of collimator plates over the conical surface. The view angle of the facility made up 20 deg, the range of incidence angles of radiation on the crystal was equal to 0-45 deg. A coordinate-sensitive proportional chamber was used as a detector. The detection system is realized in the CAMAC standard
