On the use of hydrogen-argon flame in atomic fluorescence analysis
- 1. Kazakhskij Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Mineral'nogo Syr'ya, Alma-Ata (USSR)
Description
The spectrum has been studied of diffusional hydrogen-argon flame in the region of 200-600 nm and the lower determination limits, Csub(min;0.997), for 22 elements in aqueous solutions have been established by the atomic-fluorescent method. This flame is of considerable interest for bringing down the lower limit of determined concentrations of Cd, Sn, Tl, In, Zn, Na, Se, Au, Cr, Te. The results of the study have been compared with the results obtained using the same instrumentation in propanebuthane air flame (Csub(min;0.997) for Cd=0.001 and 0.01; for Te=0.25 and 0.25; for In=0.01 and 0.05 respectively)
