The Evaluation Of Aerosol And Iodine Sample Collector On Stack Airborne Monitoring Performance

Description

The sampling of air aerosol and iodine using aerosol and iodine sampler on the stack of airborne have been done. Method of operation is : by measuring captured airborne flowing in the heating chamber and the aerosol filter which rests on the iodine filter cartridge. The air leaves the filter cartridge and flows to the rotary vane pump. The sampling was done in one reactor operation period. The result showed that the aerosol concentration on the filter are Sb-124 (4,9 x 10 exp.-8 Bq/litre), Rb-88 (5,6 x 10 exp.-3 Bq/litre), Te-132 (6,0 x 10 exp.-4 Bq/litre) and Ta-183 (1,3 x 10 exp.-7 Bq/litre). The iodine concentration on the charcoal filter is I-132 (4,9 x 10 exp.-3 Bq/litre). Those concentration are lower than the limit concentration value
