Description
This session featured three high-powered panels focused on global STEM initiatives. What began 20 years ago as a simple acronym connoting Science, Engineering, Engineering and Mathematics has now become a world-wide campaign to develop a highly skilled, STEM literate workforce. WM Symposia highlighted STEM as an integral part of our overall mission to promote technical excellence and education by fostering STEM engagement through grades K-12 and helping ensure the industry's future workforce. Session 108a: From Seed to STEM: Nurturing Program Growth Through Inspiration and Leadership; Session 108b: Setting the Hook: Partnering to Reel in STEM Students Early; Session 108c: Success Stories with STEM in the Virtual World - What Have We Learned?
