Description

This study concerned with the radiation preparation of different hydrogels based on AAc namely (AAc/PVP) and (AAc/PEG). The prepared hydrogels were used as templates for the in situ preparation of ZnO and Agº nanoparticles. AAc/PVP hydrogel was used as a template for preparation of ZnO nanoparticles that used as an effective photo catalyst. The photo catalytic activity was investigated for the photodegradation of Methyl blue dye. Various factors that affect the photo catalysis process were studied, such as the influence of ZnO concentration, ph, and different concentrations of MB.it results that the decolorisation of MB took happen in 40 mins. The photodecolorization rate increase by decreasing of the catalyst loading dose. The photo catalytic decolorisation followed the pseudo first order kinetic according to Langmuir Hinshelwood model. (AAc/PEG) hydrogel was used as a template for preparation of Agº or ZnO nanoparticles. The prepared nano composite was used for delivery of propranolol HCl drug in the buccal cavity through mucoadhesion. The antimicrobial activity of the hydrogel nano composites was examined. Various factors that affect the mucoadhesion drug delivery were studied such as the effect of the monomer composition, the effect of the amount of Agº ZnO nanoparticles. It prove that the nano composites not only a good muco adhesive but also posses antibacterial activity. The obtain results showed that the propranolol HCl loaded nano composites were able to deliver the loaded drug in sustainable about 600 mins. The release of the drug obeys nonofickian diffusion mechanism. In addition, characterization and properties of the prepared hydrogel nano composites were examined and studied using FTIR, TGA, XRD, EDX, SEM and TEM techniques
