Description
A mean partition temperature has been used to fit the CERN Collider and CERN ISR pseudorapidity data and has been related to the parameter k of the negative-binomial distribution which fits the charged-multiplicity data. The results suggest that the partition temperature is probably proportional to the mean energy of the particles produced in high-energy hadron-hadron collisions
