Nonequilibrium neutron emission from 12C + 158Gd and 13C + 157Gd reactions
Description
The energy dependence of nonequilibrium neutron emission (NNE) and the effects of projectile structure were investigated in these reactions between 103 and 160 MeV. Neutron energy spectra and angular distributions were measured. Typical spectra show no projectile structure effect. The absence of difference in NNE between 12C- and 13C-induced reactions was also noted. The Wilczynski model agrees well with the data. 5 figures, 1 table
