Tube, rod or plate in zirconium alloy resistant to uniform and nodular corrosion and corresponding fabrication process
Description
A zirconium base alloy containing iron 0.1 to 0.35, vanadium 0.1 to 0.4, oxygen 0.05 to 0.3, Sn < 0.25 and Nb < 0.25 is claimed. The fabrication process is also claimed for structural materials or fuel can for PWR or BWR reactors with increased life. Composite tubes coated with this alloy are also claimed

L'invention a pour objet un alliage a base de Zr de composition (% en masse): Fe 0,1 a 0,35 - V 0,1 a 0,4 - O 0,05 a 0,3 - Sn < a 0,25 - Nb < a 0,25. L'invention a pour deuxieme objet le procede de fabrication de ces produits qui ont, sous forme d'elements de structure ou de gainage des reacteurs nucleaires a eau pressurisee ou a eau bouillante, une duree de vie fortement augmentee.
