Description
An overview is given of the lectures and presentations at the title seminar, which was held in Noordwijk aan Zee, Netherlands, 30-31 May 2005. The seminar was organized by the Dutch Association for Energy Law (NeVER), the Scandinavian Institute for Maritime Law of the University of Oslo, and the Groningen University. The subjects presented concerned recent developments with regard to the internal (European) energy market, LNG, developments in the North Sea area, supply security and quality in a competitive market, reorganization of the European market for natural gas in the light of the liberalization process and privatization of the energy sector
Abstract (Dutch)
Het 18de European Energy Law Seminar werd gehouden op 30 en 31 mei 2005 in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin te Noordwijk aan Zee. De organiserende instellingen waren de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Energierecht (NeVER) in samenwerking met het Scandinavische Instituut voor Zeerecht van de Universiteit van Oslo en de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Tijdens de twee dagen werden voordrachten gehouden over recente ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de totstandbrenging van een interne (Europese) energiemarkt, LNG, ontwikkelingen in het Noordzee gebied, het verzekeren van de kwaliteit van elektriciteitsvoorziening in een competitieve markt, de reorganisatie van de Europese gasmarkt tegen de achtergrond van de voortschrijdende liberalisering en privatisering van de energiesector.
