Magnetic state of quasi-binary GdCu-GdZn solid solutions
Description
Magnetic characteristics of GdZnxCu1-x intermetallic compounds are investigated within phase transition from ferromagnetic state in GdZn (Tc∼270 K) to antiferromagnetic one in GdCu (TN∼144 K). Thermomagnetic effects for magnetization are measured. Concentration dependences of width of magnetization hysteresis loop and its shift at specimen cooling in the magnetic field are determined. Phase diagram of magnetic state of GdZnxCu1-x solid solutions is discussed
