Description

Kinetic Alfvacute en waves in three-component dusty plasmas are investigated. A dispersion relation for a low-frequency Alfvacute en wave in a dusty plasma is obtained. A damped (or growth) model of a kinetic Alfvacute en wave having velocity vA=B0/√mdnd0u0 dominated by the dust particles collective dynamics is shown to exist in a dusty plasma. The damping effect is provided by the dust charge fluctuation dynamics. copyright 1996 The American Physical Society
