Description
Automatic translation: Since the spring of 1969, the AVR has been exchanged for graphite elements continuously pressed fuel elements made of A3 material are added. To date (May 1973) in the AVR core, in addition to the Elements of the first load (UCC elements) altogether 65000 pressed fuel elements (45000 carbidic, 20000 oxidic fuel elements) accumulated, the oldest in now about 1200 full load days a burnup of 15% fima and a fast neutron dose of 2.4 x 1021 cm-2 (E > 0.1 MeV).
