Scintigraphic examinations in neuroradiology

Description
The introduction of CT in neuroradiological diagnostics has clearly lowered the interest in nuclear examinations. Frequently, these are carried only out of a lack of CT capacity. Still, some examples are given to show how useful cerebral, bone, and cerebrospinal fluid scintiscanning can be in every day routine diagnostics. (orig./MG)

Seit dem Einzug der Computertomographie in die neuroradiologische Diagnostik hat das Interesse an nuklearmedizinischen Untersuchungen deutlich nachgelassen, haeufig werden sie nur aus Mangel an CT-Kapazitaet durchgefuehrt. Wie hilfreich die Hirn-, Knochen- und Liquorraumszintigraphie in der taeglichen Routinediagnostik jedoch sein kann, wird anhand einiger Beispiele demonstriert. (orig./MG)Additional details
