Hubbard subbands in the electronic structure for the CuO2 plane in high temperature superconductors
Description
We present a model study of the electronic structure of the CuO2 plane of copper-based high temperature superconductors using a three-band Hubbard model. The hole correlations are treated by a Green function method with the Hubbard I decoupling scheme which recovers the metal-insulator transition at the filling of one hole per unit cell. (orig.)
