Statistical models of particle clusterization in the near-wall and isotropic turbulent flow

Description

The statistical models of the inertial particles dispersion in the nonuniform near-the-wall and uniform isotropic turbulent flows are presented. The models are based on the kinetic equations for the single-point and two-point functions of the particle velocities probability density. The comparison with the data on the numerical calculations dor the channel and isotropic flows is accomplished

Abstract (Russian)

Представлены статистические модели дисперсии инерционных частиц в неоднородной пристеночной и однородной изотропной турбулентности. Модели основаны на кинетических уравнениях для одноточечной и двухточечной функций плотности вероятностей скоростей частиц. Выполнено сопоставление с данными численных расчетов для канальных и изотропных течений
